i caught 2 movies this weekend. well, my wishful thinking once again. =\
1st up. NEW MOON. caught it last nite with jasmine kevin n stanley. well, i didden realli watch the 1st one, so i'm kinda lost at certain parts. but it was quite okay, the story is interesting, since i kinda like mystical stuffs n creatures. hahaha. but overall, i think the movie is a total male version of a chick flick movie. for like 80% of the time, there are well-bodied male characters walking, running around topless. i would say, a 3.5/5?? for a few reasons, one, i didden watch the 1st one. two, movies based on storybooks will never be as well-portraited as the book itself. and lastly, it's just topless guys taking air-time of the movie. boring~~.
next up, i caught MULAN with kevin and jianxiong this evening. well, i sort of read and know mulan's story, i think this story depicts it decently well. abit draggy at certain parts where mulan was emo-ing about the guy, but overall it's okay. 4/5 movie. interesting story, talks about feelings and emotions are useless and redundant during war. and basically the story of mulan la. some humour at certain points too. but still, war movies with the emphasis on human's coldness, love, and family usually gets me a little depressed. haha.
alright. thats all for this weekend i guess. gonna find time to meet up with more friends in future. hahaha.
i guess i'll need to treat the whole thing abit more lightly. gonna force myself to be less emotionally attached. i guess i'll just treat the whole thing as a joke, and myself as a simpleton for doing whatever i did. and i'm just glad that it's only affecting me and not others, at least there's only one dumbass who's bothered by it. hahahaha.
